The Great Houses of Westeros represent the powers in The Game of Thrones. Much like the inspiration, House of the Phoenix takes place before the event of The Game of Thrones Edition – featuring whole new rulers of the realms.
The realm is in chaos, King Jun Targaryen before his passing selected Shy Targaryen as his heir. The realm finds the decision to not be favourable in the realm, and has plunged it into war. The Houses fight for control of The Iron Throne and press their claim.
The Iron Bank will pay the victor of this conflict 10,000,000 Gil.
